The Brazilian striker has struggled all season long, and he finally found his stride in the last few weeks. In his last 10 appearances for the club in the Premier League, Richarlison had scored an impressive nine goals. For context, he had scored only one goal in his prior 12 appearances. However, after the game against Wolves, it seems that Richarlison picked up a knee injury in the game. Now, the striker is facing a considerable amount of time on the sidelines in a phase of the season where his absence could be detrimental to Tottenham’s near future.

Speaking to the media before Tottenham’s tie against Crystal Palace, Ange told the press that Richarlison picked up the knee injury in the tie against Wolves. Elaborating further on the return of Richarlison, the gaffer said, “ Richarlison is out for two to three weeks.”

If the timeline for Richarlison’s return holds, the Brazilian will miss some key fixtures for Spurs. Next weekend Tottenham are set to take on 4th placed Aston Villa in a direct battle for 4th place. All these games could be crucial to Tottenham’s aspirations of finishing in a Champions League spot.
