Bayern Munich gained a dominant 5-0 victory over Hoffenheim at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday in the Bundesliga to restore their four-point lead at the summit. This defeat extended the visitors’ run to nine matches without a victory across all competitions.
Leroy Sane opened the scoring for Bayern Munich in the seventh minute, while Raphael Guerrero notched the second goal in the 12th minute. Harry Kane made it 3-0 around the 26th minute from the spot and Sane netted his brace in the 48th minute to make in 4-0. German forward Serge Gnabry who came off the bench netted the fifth goal for the Bavarians. The hosts were in full control of the game from start to end making it a comfortable victory to strengthen their position at the top of the table
