Former Indian football team captain arrives at Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha Ceremony

Former Indian football team captain Bhaichung Bhutia arrived in Ayodhya ahead of Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha. Along with him, lots of sports icons from the country such as India’s master blaster Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Badminton star Sania Nehwal and PV Sindhu as well as Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi currently in the Holy city of Uttar Pradesh to participate in Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha.

Bhaichung Bhutia arrives in Ayodhya to offers prayer to Lord Rama

While speaking to Aaj Tak, the Former India Captain stated

“I’m very excited. I would like to thank our Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi for inviting me. I’m very very excited about tomorrow’s events (Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony). “

“Definitely! We are here to follow our tradition and keep our tradition alive. It’s good to see that most of the youngsters are excited about Ram Mandir. I think in a few days most of the youngsters are looking forward to coming in.” Bhaichung Bhutia further added.

Former India team striker ended his statement:

“I have played football for 30 years after retiremited I started following spirituality.”

Bhaichung Bhutia who was born in Sikkim, started playing football at the age of nine. At the age of sixteen, Bhutia left the school to join East Bengal FC, Kolkata. He made his international debut for Indian football team in Nehru Cup. He represented Indian football team as a captain in 1998-99 season.

With scoring 100 league goals in 226 appreances and 42 goals in 104 International fixtures, Bhutia announced his retirement in the year of 2011. Currently, he lives in his native village in sikkim and keep engaging their fans by posting about his life on social media.
