Bayern Munich returned to winning ways in the Bundesliga after their draw against arch-rivals Borussia Dortmund and a defeat against Bayer Leverkusen in the German Cup. They secured a nervous 4-2 victory over FC Heidenheim at the Allianz Arena on Saturday to create a solid six-point lead at the top of the table.
Two second-half goals from substitute Jamal Musiala helped the team secure a full three points as they were battling a stalemate after goals from Dayot Upamecano and Honsak. The match saw a nervous ending as most of the goals came at the fag end of the game with Leon Goretzka netting his first Bundesliga goal this season.
