FPL player price changes – rises, falls and most transfers in/out for GW 13
Gameweek 13 of the Fantasy Premier League season is soon going to be upon us. In the context of that it is important to look at how the last GW went. Gameweek 12 took place last weeks and three up several interesting things to take note of. The stars of the show in the previous GW were James Maddison of Tottenham Hotspur, who managed 16 points, Matheus Cunha of Wolves who managed a tally of 16 points and Aaron Wan-Bissaka of West Ham who managed a tally of 15 points. The fixtures to keep an eye out for this week are Manchester City versus Liverpool as the table topping Reds take on the four time defending champions who are in the worst stretch of form they have seen in Pep Guardiola’s tenure.
FPL Price Rises GW 13
Player | Club | Price |
Gabriel | Arsenal | £6.2m |
Nicolas Jackson | Chelsea | £8.0m |
James Maddison | Spurs | £7.6m |
Matheus Cunha | Wolves | £7.0m |
Bukayo Saka | Arsenal | £10.2m |
Joel Veltman | Brighton | £4.6m |
Mohamed Salah | Liverpool | £13.1m |
Joao Pedro | Brighton | £5.6m |
Bruno Fernandes | Manchester United | £8.5m |
Matheus Cunha | Wolves | £7.0m
The most expected player to rise perhaps, given current form. Matheus Cunha is now up to £7.0m. This has been extremely deserved, given he has contributed to 7 goals in his last 4 Premier League games. His 10 goal contributions in 12 games has shown two things – one that Wolves’ terrible start to the season is over and they are beginning to perform as per potential and secondly that Cunha soon might move to a bigger club. Many clubs will having their eyes on his performances as well the manager of Brazil’s national team. He has 75 points in Fantasy Premier League in total.
Joao Pedro | Brighton | £5.6m
The fact that even with his price rise, someone of Joao Pedro’s quality being available for £5.6m is crazy. The signing of the Brazilian for big money from Watford might well have been a departure from Brighton’s usual style of recruitment but he has taken over the reigns of their attacking unit ever since he set foot at the Amex Stadium. This season too, he has been in terrific form, on either side of an injury. His last two matches have yielded 23 points in Fantasy Premier League. Therefore it is completely unsurprising that he has risen in value.
James Maddison | Tottenham Hotspur | £7.6m
While it is true that James Maddison is often called a streaky player or someone who doesn’t step up at the tough parts of the season. But all of that being said, when on song, he is one of the best attacking midfielders in the Premier League. That was on full display in this past gameweek against Manchester City, as he scored twice in that game, attacking the space very well. Now that he is rising in price, people are bringing him in to not miss out on his points. So far this season, Maddison has been inconsistent but after last weekend, he could find a new leash of form.

FPL fallers
Player | Club | Price |
Leandro Trossard | Arsenal | £6.8m |
Raul Jimenez | Fulham | £5.7m |
Jorginho | Arsenal | £4.7m |
Luis Diaz | Liverpool | £7.6m |
Phil Foden | Manchester City | £9.1m |
Kai Havertz | Arsenal | £7.9m |
Dominic Calvert-Lewin | Everton | £5.6m |
Mateo Kovacic | Manchester City | £5.5m |
Jadon Sancho | Chelsea | £6.2m |
Dominic Solanke | Spurs | £7.6m |
Jadon Sancho | Chelsea | £6.2m
So far, Jadon Sancho’s Chelsea tenure has closely resembled his nightmarish stint at Manchester United. While there were early shows of promise, that has now been replaced by talk about why the attacker never has been considered good in a consistent manner. Injuries keep plaguing him too, with him recently being out of action for a few weeks. Given he doesn’t play much, his Fantasy Premier League over time has also kept falling. It is difficult to see what is happening with him.
Kai Havertz | Arsenal | £7.9m
Kai Havertz is an interesting case in Fantasy Premier League. On one hand, he usually does a lot of what Mikel Arteta wants out of his striker. But on the other hand, he perhaps doesn’t score as many goals as the fans would want. This season, so far, he only has 4 Premier League goals after 12 goals. Arsenal’s recent poor run of form also coincided with some injury worries for the German. Interestingly, his last goal in the league came almost 2 months back in early October against Southampton. Let us see if the German ends up as a consistent striker for the Gunners.
Phil Foden | Manchester City | £9.1m
Phil Foden clinched the title of PFA Player of the Year in the previous season. As we approach the one third mark of the season, his recent performances have shown notable changes compared to before. He currently holds just the one assist in the Premier League. Currently, he also faced an injury, causing a decline in his value. Manchester City entirely requires a change. They are currently on a winless streak of 6 games and could really use a spark of inspiration. It will be intriguing to observe the developments taking place with Pep Guardiola’s team.
