Fantasy Premier League GW 12: Key Injury Updates and Team News
The November international break is over and the awaited return of the Premier League action is upon the football world. The biggest game of matchday 12 will be Manchester City taking on Tottenham Hotspur at the Etihad Stadium. The scrutiny will be on the top of the table as the title race heats up. There will also be key matches in the lower half of the table. Amongst the drama on the field, the Fantasy Premier League managers will also be in line for some key decisions. Here is a comprehensive look at the availability and unavailability updates for all Premier League teams ahead of matchday 12.
Arsenal
Several Arsenal players including the captain, Martin Ødegaard have returned to the matchday squad in recent weeks. Unfortunately, several players are still sidelined with respective fitness issues. Ben White, Kieran Tierney, Leandro Trossard, Riccardo Calafiori, and Takehiro Tomiyasu will not be available at Mikel Arteta’s disposal for the match against Nottingham Forest.
Aston Villa
Jacob Ramsey, Matty Cash, and Ross Barkley have been sidelined by the club doctors. In addition, the participation of Pau Torres and Amadou Onana is also uncertain and a final decision regarding them will be made in the upcoming days.
Bournemouth
Bournemouth has been one of the major surprise packages this season. Ryan Christie (Suspension), Alex Scott (Meniscus Injury), and Luis Sinisterra (Muscle Injury) will not be a part of the matchday squad. Antoine Semenyo and Dango Ouattara are also a doubt. Semenyo has recently become one of the most popular choices for Fantasy Premier League managers.
Brentford
Thomas Frank will have several key absentees for the match against Everton. Rico Henry, Aaron Hickey, Josh Dasilva, Kristofer Ajer, Gustavo Gomes, and Thiago Rodrigues are all injured and unavailable. A final call on the availability of Yoane Wissa is still to be made as he recovers from a knock.
Brighton & Hove Albion
Brighton will unfortunately have a plethora of absentees for the game against Bournemouth. Adam Webster, James Milner, Ferdi Kadioglu, Lewis Dunk, Tariq Lamptey, Solly March, and Yankuba Minteh are the names currently sidelined by injury issues.
Chelsea
Chelsea boss, Enzo Maresca will only have to deal with the absence of Jadon Sancho and Wesley Fofana. Both players are an integral part of the Chelsea squad and are expected to be back before November ends.
Crystal Palace
Struggling in the relegation zone, Crystal Palace has one of the longest injury lists currently. Adam Wharton, Chadi Riad, Eberchi Eze, Edward Nketiah, Jefferson Lerma, and Matheus Franca will not be a part of the trip to Villa Park. Daichi Kamada will also not be available due to a suspension.
Everton
Evertonian boss, Sean Dyche will have to manage without the services of Armando Broja (Achilles Tendon Injury), James Garner (Muscle Injury), Jarrad Branthwaite (Knock), Seamus Coleman (Hamstring Injury), Tim Iroegbunam (Leg Injury), and Youssef Chermiti (Foot Injury) on Saturday against Brentford.
Fulham
Carlos Vinicius who has been out due to a knock since early September is still unlikely to make the matchday squad for Fulham. He will be joined by midfielder Sasa Lukic on the sidelines on matchday 12.

Ipswich Town
Chiedozie Ogbene is the only name confirmed to be out for Ipswich Town owing to an Achilles Tendon Injury. Fantasy Premier League managers, however, will also have to factor in the uncertainty looming over the participation of Jacob Greaves, Nathan Broadhead, and Wes Burns who are yet to receive the green light from the club doctors.
Leicester City
Bobby Reid, Jamie Vardy, Ricardo Pereira, Jakub Stolarczyk, and Patson Daka will not be a part of the matchday squad against Chelsea. Steve Cooper likes to shape his team in a classic 4-2-3-1 formation.
Liverpool
Table-toppers, Liverpool will have several key players out against Southampton on matchday 12. Alisson Becker, Diogo Jota, Federico Chiesa, Harvey Elliott, and Trent Alexander-Arnold will not be available at the Arne Slot’s disposal. The Dutch coach has already displayed his prowess in dealing with a narrow squad and should be good to go again.
Manchester City
Pep Guardiola will have to take the hard route in attempting to cut the deficit with Liverpool at the top. The former Barcelona manager will not have the services of Jack Grealish (Knock), Jeremy Doku (Thigh Injury), John Stones (Knock), Nathan Ake (Hamstring Injury), Oscar Bobb (Broken Neck), Phil Foden (Knock), Rodri (ACL Injury), and Ruben Dias (Knock) in the crucial game against Tottenham Hotspur.
Manchester United
Ruben Amorim will take charge of his first game as Manchester United head coach against Ipswich Town on Sunday. All eyes will be on the decisions made by the Portuguese coach regarding the starting XI. The likes of Harry Maguire, Kobbie Mainoo, Lenny Yoro, Lisandro Martinez, Luke Shaw, Toby Collyer, Tyrell Malacia, and Victor Lindelöf will unfortunately not be able to take a part in Amorim’s first game as the United manager.
Newcastle United
Eddie Howe will have to deal with some key injury issues against West Ham United. Emil Krafth, Callum Wilson, Jamaal Lascelles, Kieran Trippier, and Sven Botman are completely ruled out for the fixture. Daniel Burn will also sit out due to a suspension.
Nottingham Forest
Fortunately for Nottingham Forest, only Danilo (Broken Ankle) and Ibrahim Sangaré (Hamstring Injury) will be the only names on the injury list on matchday 12 of the Premier League season.
Southampton
Gavin Bazunu, Jan Bednarek, Ross Stewart, Ryan Fraser, and William Smallbone have been completely ruled out of matchday 12 for the Hammers. Seasoned goalkeeper, Aaron Ramsdale is yet to receive the final approval from the medical team as he recovers from a broken finger.
Tottenham Hotspur
Midfielder, Rodrigo Bentancur was handed a seven-game ban for his off-the-pitch remarks. The Uruguayan will be joined by Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven, Mikey Moore, Richarlison, and Wilson Odobert on the list of unavailable players for Ange Postecoglou.
West Ham United
The Hammers continue to miss the presence of Niclas Füllkrug, who is recovering from an Achilles Tendon Injury. West Ham will also not have the privilege of naming Mohammed Kudus in the squad as the midfielder will be out due to a suspension.
Wolves
Boubacar Traore (Knee), Enso Gonzalez (Ligament), Hee-Chan Hwang (Ankle), Sasa Kalajdzic (Ligament), and Yerson Mosquera (Knee) will be guaranteed absentees on matchday twelve for a struggling Wolves side. Sam Johnstone and Bastien Meupiyou are also yet to be cleared by the club doctors.
