Latest on Lisandro Martinez injury
The Argentinian defender Martinez sustained a knock in Man United’s game against Leicester City over the weekend and United are expected to assess the situation in the coming days. News of his withdrawal from the international squad will undoubtedly leave new manager Ruben Amorim sweating.
The Man United medical staff will assess the defender’s situation upon his return to Carrington and it remains to be seen whether Martinez will be available for Amorim’s first game in charge against Ipswich Town on November 24, 2024.
