The La Liga 2024/25 campaign is all set to resume operations this weekend, as some of the biggest Spanish football clubs are gearing up to Challenge the reigning champions Real Madrid for the Spanish title. The fight for Continental qualification for the UEFA Champions League and Europa League is also on the line for the clubs.

All the clubs have already played 9 matches in the current campaign and the title race is shaping up on the top of the table while competition is getting intense in the midtable standings. The top six in the Latest La Liga standings

As things stand, the big three of Spain Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid are occupying the top three spots on the points table. Alongside, Villarreal on fourth place. The club face several challenges in management, player retention and financial constraints and all have resulted in the current situation, as they stand at 18th position among the bottom three.

In the 19th position, it’s Real Valladolid with 5 points and a record goal difference of -14 worst figure in the league so far. Valladolid have conceded 19 goals in 9 matches picturing their defensive instability. Las Palmas is sitting at the last spot with only three points without a win three draws and six losses making it difficult for them to bounce back from the bottom of the table without a miracle.
