One point was enough to put Denmark second in Group 4 of League A in the UEFA Nations League. On the other hand, Switzerland were supposed to do something more than just a draw to survive in the highest tier. Both teams played draw and shared one point for each in a game that ended 2-2 for both sides at AFG Arena.

Remo Freuler and Zaki Amdouni scored for the host, while Gustav Isaksen and Christian Eriksen put their names on the score sheet for the visitors. Switzerland are now stranded at the bottom of the group table, collecting only one point.
