In the UEFA Nations League, Scotland hosted Portugal at Hampden Park, Glasgow, for their Round 4 game. Portugal started this game a bit shaky but later started controlling the game by passing the ball around the field. Both teams conceded several fouls and yellow cards for rash tackles. Scotland looked well in control and their defense was solid throughout the first half even when they had 27% possession. Their passing didn’t look that good in the third half of the field. Portugal continued to dominate the possession even in the second half as Scotland put everything on their defense and counterattack. Portugal did come close to scoring after Rafael Leao cut into the box from the left flank and unleashed a shot but got bounced back into the goalkeeper’s hands.
