Bosnia 1-2 Germany: Player Ratings as Deniz Undav shines once again for Die Mannschaft in a simple win

Bosnia hosted Germany in the UEFA Nations League on Friday, October 11, and fell to a 2-1 defeat in a League A Group 3 match. The result sees the Germans stretch their lead at the top of the group to two points, with the Netherlands in second place.

The visitors made a dominant start to the contest and had nearly 80% of the ball in the first half as they created one chance after another. Their fullbacks ventured forward on several occasions and hence created space in midfield for their teammates to run into. Deniz Undav scored a brace midway through the first half in a six-minute spell, with assists from Florian Wirtz and Maximilian Mittelstadt as the Germans led 2-0 at the break.

Bosnia made a decent start to the second period as they looked to get into the game, with both managers making periodic changes. The hosts’ substitute Benjamin Tahirovic provided an assist for captain Edin Dzeko to make it 2-0 in the 70th and set up an interesting finish. However, Germany held on to secure a 2-1 win. On that note, let’s take a look at both teams’ player ratings.
