Benfica 4-0 Atletico Madrid Player Ratings as Bruno Lage’s men run riot to secure second Champions League victory

Benfica thrashed Atletico Madrid 4-0 at their home to start their UEFA Champions League campaign with two consecutive wins. Kerem Akturkoglu, Angel Di Maria, Alexander Bah and Orkun Kokcu were on target as Atletico were not given a chance to make a comeback into the game.

Atletico’s defence made an error in 13th minute to which Akturkoglu netted the first goal and later Di Maria converted a penalty. Bah extended Benfica’s lead with a header from a corner in the 75th minute and Kokcu completed the rout from another penalty after Reinildo fouled Zewki Amdouni.
