Anthony Taylor sets new Premier League record by giving away 14 yellow cards in Bournemouth vs Chelsea game

The Premier League has always been a fun league to watch due to its thrills, goals, and drama. It has also gathered a physical image for itself in the last few years. It has transformed into a league, where it demands utmost physicality and strength from its players. To prevent these challenges from being into rash ones or even calming down the intensity on the pitch referees come out with yellow cards and in a game between Bournemouth and Chelsea, it saw a record of the most yellow cards in a match get broken.

In the match 14 yellow cards were shown by the referee Antony Taylor to the players along with coach Enzo Maresca in the Vitality Stadium. Despite all the cautions from the referee it was amazing that not a single player was sent off though many had chances to be barred from the game due to clumsy challenges.

Chelsea took home the three points from this game despite being the second best side in the game. This result has placed Enzo Maresca’s side in seventh place and will face London rivals West Ham United in the next weekend.
