The best and worst players from the Manchester United vs Liverpool game
Liverpool knocked out Manchester United with multiple blows in the Premier League on Sunday, thanks to a Luis Diaz double and a Mohamed Salah strike.
Arne Slot’s side entered Old Trafford with complete confidence after two victories and a clean sheet. However, it did not take long for Liverpool to slowly dismantle Manchester United, as Salah architectured a cross for Luis Diaz to head goal number one.
It was the same duo again as Salah teed up Diaz, this time with a low cross making the travelling fans go frenzy and the game was pretty much over before halftime.

Needless to say, the first one on the list is the Columbian who grabbed a brace and the player of the match award from team-mate Alisson. Diaz was just unstoppable in the opening 45 minutes breaking through the United defence with ease. He ended with the game making Arne Slot the first Liverpool manager to win his first away league game against Manchester United in 88 years.
Mohamed Salah
The Egyptian had a quiet first half in front of goal but showcased his vision setting up Diaz twice. Later, Salah also joined the party with a classy finish. Old Trafford has become his favourite ground scoring more Premier League away goals against Manchester United than any other visiting player in the competition’s history (7).

It was a complete horror show for the Brazillian, as his mistake gifted Liverpool twice, leading to the goal. Under pressure for a second caught him providing a catastrophic missed pass, that opened up the defense for the first goal, later he was hooked off in halftime.
Lisandro Martinez
Left Diaz unmarked for the second goal meant the Colombian was free in the penalty spot. Also, he gave the ball away too easily without a fight, not taking the responsibility of a dependable marksman. Overall the Argentine was unaware of his objectives and was crushed by the Reds attackers.
