Marcus Rashford EA FC 25 rating takes a big hit: Fans react

Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has reportedly received a significant downgrade in the upcoming EA FC 25 game sparking reactions from fans.

The leaked ratings suggest a sharp drop for the 26-year-old who is now set to have an 81-rated card—a four-point decrease from his previous rating in FC 24.

Marcus Rashford tough season leads to downgrade

Rashford’s downgrade follows a challenging 2023/24 season where he managed just 13 goal contributions in 43 appearances. This dip in form led to his exclusion from Gareth Southgate’s provisional 33-man England squad for Euro 2024 further highlighting the forward’s struggles.

Despite these setbacks, Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag remains confident in Rashford’s ability to bounce back. In an interview with The Guardian, Ten Hag expressed his belief that Rashford could rediscover his goal-scoring form.

“Of course, but he has to prove his point,” Ten Hag stated. “We will set the conditions and he is very capable of doing this. The season before he scored 30 goals, so when he is in the right vibe, then he has such a high potential.”

But the leaked EA FC 25 rating seems to reflect his recent performance issues. A screenshot shared by Donk on X (formerly Twitter) shows that all of Rashford’s key stats—pace, shooting, passing, dribbling, defending, and physicality—have been downgraded.

Fans on social media have had mixed reactions to the news. One fan commented, “It’s crazy because other players have a bad season they go down by 1 or 2, Rashy has a bad season he goes down by 4.” Another added, “Deserved downgrade tbh.”

Rashford isn’t the only Manchester United player facing a rating drop in FC 25. Winger Antony has reportedly been given a 77-rated card, while Rasmus Hojlund, the club’s top goalscorer last season, is rated at 78.

Youngster Alejandro Garnacho is also expected to receive a 79-rated card featuring standout stats like 86 pace and 81 dribbling.

As Rashford gears up for the new season fans and critics alike will be watching closely to see if he can prove the doubters wrong and regain his form on the pitch — and perhaps boost his EA rating in the process.
