Man Utd to sell unsettled midfielder before deadline day

Manchester United are reportedly struggling to offload veteran midfielder Christian Eriksen, who is available for as low as £5m this summer. The 32-year-old has been deemed surplus to Erik ten Hag’s requirements and his time at Old Trafford is set to come to an end.

The Red Devils want to offload their fringe players to adhere to the FFP rules and trim their massive salary budget to make space for any new incoming in the final days of the summer window.

Christian Eriksen is way down the pecking order behind Kobbie Mainoo, Bruno Fernandes, Casemiro, Mason Mount and Scott McTominay and will struggle for minutes if the stays beyond this summer.
