Sevilla 1-2 Villarreal: Player ratings as Ayoze Perez nets winner deep in stoppage time for Yellow Submarine
Villarreal beat Sevilla 2-1 in stoppage-time in La Liga on Friday. Ayoze Perez struck the winner in the fifth minute of added time to stun the Andalucians, who remained winless in the new season of the top-flight campaign.
The visitors made a fast start to the game as Arnaut Danjuma struck within two minutes of the kick-off before Dodi Lukebakio equalized for Sevilla in the added minutes of the opening half. With both sides struggling to find the winner, it seemed like the game was heading towards a draw, but Perez, signed from Real Betis this summer, popped up with a late, late winner.
