Brentford agree move for Liverpool’s Sepp van den Berg

The Bees have reportedly agreed in a deal in principle to sign Liverpool defender Sepp van den Berg and have agreed to pay £25m plus £5m in add-ons for the Dutchman.  Liverpool are keen to offload him this summer and they are close to selling yet another player from the team.

Bayer Leverkusen have also taken an interest in the centre-back who joined Liverpool in a £4.4m move from Eredivisie club PEC Zwolle in 2019. The decision is now to the player who had several suitors across Europe in this summer window.
