Manchester United agree to sell Will Fish to Cardiff City

The Red Devils have sanctioned the departure of first-team defender Will Fish to Championship club Cardiff City. Fish joined Manchester United academy at the age of seven and spent the last two seasons on loan with Scottish Premiership club Hibernian.

The 21-year-old defender has attracted plenty of interest with several Championships clubs, but the Red Devils have managed to strike a deal with Cardiff City for Fish, who made his debut senior debut under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in 2021.

He will be a regular for Cardiff City, as he would have struggled for minutes if he prolonged his stay at Manchester United.
