Man Utd trying to hijack a move for Giorgi Mamardashvili

Manchester United have reportedly taken an interest in Liverpool target Giorgi Mamardashvili, who has been poised to join Merseyside outfit Liverpool this summer. Despite agreeing personal terms with Liverpool, Mamardashvili is open to the idea of signing with Manchester United.

Valencia are seeking £34million for the Georgian international, but Liverpool are holding out an offer of £30million for the 23-year-old goalkeeper. If Liverpool are serious about the Georgian, they need to increase their off in order to secure a move for the Valencia shotstopper.

Mamardashvili has three years left on his contract and his move to the Premier League is imminent this summer.
