BREAKING: Liverpool agree to sell Bobby Clark to Red Bull Salzburg

The Reds have agreed a transfer fee of £10m for midfielder Bobby Clark, who will reunite with former Liverpool assistant manager Pep Lijnders at Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg. The 19-year-old midfielder was on the radar of several clubs in the summer including a dozen in the Championship.

Liverpool previously rejected bids worth £6 million and £8.2 million for the young midfielder but have reached an agreement with Salzburg’s third bid of £10 million. At the tender age of 19, Clark has shown the maturity and skill that sets him apart from players in his position.

Liverpool have also managed to add a 17.5 percent sell-on clause in Clark’s contract.
