Barcelona linked with free agent Ivan Perisic

The Blaugrana has been linked with a shock move for Croatian winger Ivan Perisic, who left his boyhood club Hajduk Split just months after a falling out with manager Gennaro Gattuso. The veteran forward has been considered a possible addition to Flick’s setup.

There are rumours circling that manager Hansi Flick, who worked with Perisic at Bayern Munich is keen to bring the Croatian to Catalunya in the final weeks of the summer window. However, Barcelona have now officially ruled out the possibility of signing the 35-year-old winger.

It’s no secret that the Blaugrana are in the market for a new winger after having failed in their pursuit of Athletic Bilbao forward Nico Williams.
