BREAKING: Conor Gallagher returns to London with his move to Atletico in danger

The England international has been stuck at a hotel in Madrid for the past five days after he agreed a £36m move to Atletico Madrid on Thursday. Gallagher’s move to the Spanish capital is in jeopardy after Chelsea’s deal for Samu Omorodion in the eleventh hour.

At present, Chelsea and Atletico Madrid are negotiating a deal for Joao Felix, who spent the last season on loan at Stamford Bridge. Atletico need to offload a few players in order to facilitate a move for Conor Gallagher.

As per Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea have asked the midfielder to return to London immediately and wait for the Felix deal to be completed before he returns to Madrid.
