Conor Gallagher’s transfer to Atletico Madrid hangs in balance amidst Chelsea’s condition

Despite reports helming that Conor Gallagher’s transfer to La Liga giants Atletico Madrid is close to being completed, it looks like things have taken a slight turn amidst Chelsea issuing a certain condition.

As per football transfer expert ‘Fabrizio Romano‘, Gallagher’s switch to Atletico is still on the cards, but this should come alongside Chelsea wanting their interest in any other Atletico Madrid player (reportedly Joao Felix) to not be judged or included as a part of Gallagher’s deal.

Romano has insisted that the La Liga club can go ahead with the signing formalities for Gallagher as the required documents are ready. But in case they didn’t pursue it, the Blues have made arrangements to bring the England midfielder back to Stamford Bridge.
