Man Utd learn Barcelona’s stance on Frenkie de Jong

The Catalan giants are reportedly interested in selling midfielder Frenkie de Jong and want around £51m (€60m) plus add-ons for the Dutchman. The former Ajax midfielder was Erik Ten Hag’s top target in the summer of 2022 but he opted to remain with Barcelona.

The 27-year-old midfielder is once again linked with a move to Manchester United as De Jong knows Ten Hag well from their time at Ajax. The Red Devils are in the market for a new central midfielder and has been linked with several players this summer.
