Arsenal favourites to sign Adrien Rabiot on a free transfer

The Gunners were expected to bolster their midfield options and have already accepted personal terms with Real Sociedad’s Mikel Merino over a possible summer move. They have now taken an interest in former Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot, who has been on the radar of a few Premier League clubs this summer.

The French international is now a hot commodity on the transfer market after his contract with Juventus expired last June. Spanish giants Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid are also interested in the 29-year-old free agent.

But, Arsenal might not pursue two left-footed central midfielders in the same window.
