Fulham are open on possibility of acquiring Diego Carlos from Aston Villa

Fulham are serious about signing Diego Carlos from Aston Villa. The Cottagers have held initial talks of securing the centre back’s signature in order to reinforce their squad for the upcoming season. 

Lyall Thomas from SkySports reported that the Craven Cottage-based side are not the only suitors for the player. However, Sky also added that Fulham lead the chase of Carlos and are willing to sell the player in this transfer window. 

Villa, on the other hand, are open to sell Carlos to gain more cash as a preparation for the Champions League this year. Selling the Brazilian is believed to give them more “breathing space” while strengthening their squad on other posts. (source: SkySports)
