Barcelona keen to finalize a new loan deal for Joao Cancelo

Portuguese defender Joao Cancelo has mentioned his desire to continue his professional career with Barcelona with agent Jorge Mendes aiming to broker an agreement between both parties.

Cancelo spent the last season on loan at Barcelona and has now returned to Manchester City following the expiry of his loan deal. The Catalan giants are considering new options to convince City to once again sanction a season-long loan deal for the Portuguese international.

The Blaugrana are trying to seal a deal for Joan Cancelo who was instrumental in providing the club with at least a solid defensive structure last season under the management of Xavi.
