Troy Parrott leaves Tottenham to join AZ Alkmaar

Troy Parrott has travelled to the Netherlands to complete a medical with AZ Alkmaar after Tottenham decided to let go of him this summer.

Parrott enjoyed a successful spell in the Eredivisie on loan at Excelsior, where he caught the eye of multiple top Dutch clubs with AZ eventually winning the race for the talented forward.

Meanwhile, AZ finished fourth in the Eredivisie this season, nine points ahead of Ajax and will hope Parrott’s arrival sparks them higher up the table next season!
