Arsenal continues to pursue Riccardo Calafiori deal as talks continue with Bologna

According to football transfer market expert ‘Fabrizio Romano‘, the Premier League club Arsenal continues talks with Seria A club Bologna over a potential deal for the defender Riccardo Calafiori.

Romano has insisted that the Italian club is stubborn on the price tag of about €50 million for Calafiori. More so because they will need to pay the 50 percent of sale proceeds to Basel, the club from which they bought him initially.

Arsenal though is keen on considering a deal that will have the feature of significant add-ons. But one thing that might work in the Gunners’ favor is that Riccardo Calafiori is keen on the move and is waiting for the English club.
