Arsenal’s first bid for Wolves’ Dan Bentley rejected: Report

Earlier reports had it that Arsenal’s interest in Wolves’ (Wolverhampton Wanderers) goalkeeper could only come to fruition if the Old Gold considers the Gunners’ bid viable enough for the player,i.e., they would only be willing to sell if they think that they can potentially reinvest the money to bring in another player.

As ‘The Athletic‘ and as reported by ‘David Ornstein’, Gunner’s first offer (reported to be about £50k – via London Evening Standard) for the player has been rejected by the Wolves’ hierarchy as things stand at this point. The London-based club’s initial bid for Dan Bentley is termed to be falling short of the Wolves’ valuation. It remains to be seen if Arsenal go in again for the goalkeeper with a second proposal.
