Girona to sign Man Utd star Donny van de Beek for €500,000

Relevo have reported that La Liga club Girona is set to sign Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek for a poultry sum of €500,000.

Van de Beek struggled to establish himself since moving to United in a £35m deal from Ajax in September 2020. The Dutch midfielder then underwent a loan spell at Everton and spent the second half of last season at Eintracht Frankfurt.

It is understood that Girona will pay the small initial fee, with further add-ons that could total £16.9m (20m euros).
