Everton amongst the clubs pushing for Jaden Philogene as England Under-21 prioritizes Premier League move

As per football transfer market expert – ‘Fabrizio Romano’, Premier League club Everton earlier submitted a proposal to EFL Championship side Hull City signifying their interest in the Tiger’s player Jaden Philogene. Romano also inflicted that other English clubs such as Crystal Palace and Ipswich Town were also interested in the left winger and have contacted Hull City regarding the Englishman.

The one thing that appeared as a major roadblock in the Premier League club’s interest in Jaden Philogene was FC Barcelona being linked with him. But as laid out by ‘Fabrizio Romano’, the English-born player has reportedly chosen the English top flight at this moment in time.

“I chose the Premier League because it is the clearest offer I have, but my dream is still La Liga”

Jaden expressed, as quoted by Romano in his tweet.

When one comes to Everton’s winger options, players like Dwight McNeil and Jack Harrison were forced to play week and week out in the last campaign. The Toffees lacked options in that department. So, a player like Jaden Philogene could emerge as a decent option for Sean Dyche in the 2024-25 season.

The 22-year-old winger can play as a right-winger as well. More so, he can operate as a second striker, an attacking midfielder, and a central midfielder.

He has 4 caps for the England Under-21 and has scored three goals. In the 2023-24 Championship season, the youngster scored 12 goals and had six assists in 32 games for Hull City.
