The Premier League giants Chelsea’s France international defender Wesley Fofana’s wife Cyrine has reportedly given impressions of a brewing divorce for the couple after reportedly eradicating her partner’s surname from her social handle of Instagram. However, as per a report by ‘Daily Mail’, Cyrin and Wesley Fofana have also deleted pictures of them together from the social site.
The duo made their relationship public in the year 2021. They apparently, tied the knot a year later in 2022 in the European country of Monaco. There have been several rumours surrounding a stir in their marriage in the recent past. If anything, Cyrine’s latest actions on her social handle do point out those rumoured reports being right to an extent.
As last seen, Cyrine’s initial number of posts from her Instagram handle has been reduced to 26 from the previous sum of 42 after she deleted all pictures of her and Wesley Fofana together. Her full account name which earlier read ‘Cyrine Fofana’ also doesn’t appear now below her profile image. She has also gone on and edited a particular picture’s caption, which reportedly was taken a day after she and Fofana tied the knot.
By profession, Cyrine bolsters a background in a Consulting Association. Her current professional position has been tipped to be a Vice-President at the Europe Etudes. As per further reports, this is not the first occasion where the duo has come into the limelight for problems in their marriage. Cyrine once turned her Instagram page to private in 2023, which further raised questions regarding the status of her relationship with Fofana.

The London-based club Chelsea spent a notable sum of about £70 million to fetch the French defender Fofana from Leicester City. However, he hasn’t played much for them since joining due to injury concerns. The 23-year-old settled in London with partner Cyrine after the move to the Blues.
