The Copa America 2024 is underway after its opening fixture between Argentina and Canada was played at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in the USA. The Group A sides clashed with each other in a highly anticipated match featuring players like Lionel Messi, Ángel Di Maria, and Alphonso Davies.
Argentina came out victorious as they defeated Canada via a scoreline of 2-0 to register their first three points of the tournament. Julian Álvarez and Lautaro Martínez netted for La Albiceleste in the 49th and 88th minute of the match respectively to get them a well-deserved win.
