Liverpool to Hold Event Recognizing Jurgen Klopp’s Achievements
Ever since he took over a hapless Liverpool FC in October 2015, few managers have managed to replicate what Jurgen Klopp has managed to do at Liverpool in the Premier League. Only Manchester City and Pep Guardiola have replicated their achievements, as the Reds have won every available trophy. However, Klopp’s Liverpool had never won the Premier League title when he stepped up which does give him a leg up.
Since his appointment, the German has lifted the Champions League, Premier League title, the Club World Cup, the FA Cup, and the Carabao Cup (2). It does mean that when the German steps down at the end of the season, he’ll do so as a modern-day legend for the club. However, while fans alike wonder how the club will replace him, reports have indicated that the Reds are planning to celebrate the German before he leaves.
Liverpool to an event at the M&S Bank Arena to celebrate Klopp’s achievements
The Reds are set to hold an event at the M&S Bank Arena later this month to celebrate Jurgen Klopp and everything that he has achieved with the club. The event, named “An Evening with Jurgen Klopp & Special Guests”, will be held on May 28th. It will have a Q&A session with Klopp and will also feature performances from known singers including Alfie Boa.
The German is overjoyed at the fact that admitted as much in the official report despite the fact that his last few months at Anfield haven’t gone as planned. The Reds still remain in the title race but are distant third favourites and have also crashed out of the Europa League knockout stages. Yet despite that, Klopp admitted that he is looking towards the event and wants to spend time with the fans.
“This is going to be a very special night, with lots of fantastic memories shared and plenty of great music too. I’m really looking forward to spending it with our fans, the heartbeat of this wonderful and unique club,” Klopp said, reported the Liverpool Echo.
