Real Madrid-bound Endrick strikes iconic pose after scoring three goals in a span of just five days

After scoring goals against England at Wembley and Spain at Santiago Bernabeu it seems that Endrick is addicted to delivering the ball into the net. Not only that but after returning home and playing for his native club Palmeiras, he scored the third goal in five days, sending his side into the state final.

After the match, Endrick celebrated it with something that would be remembered for in the future. He grabbed Palmerias’ giant emblem and waved it over his head, making it a memorable moment.

Madrid secured Endrick’s signature back in 2022. However, the regulation forbade him to move to Spain before turning 18, which will happen four months from now. His presence is quite expected at Santiago Bernabeu according to his fellow Brazilian Vinicius Junior. 

“Endrick isn’t with us yet, but he’s getting good vibes for when he arrives next season,” Vini said. “Hopefully, we can achieve great things with Madrid.”

A football columnist Thomas Hindle described him as “the most raw, yet the most talented” Brazilian young player since Neymar. 

“Endrick is, then, the most obvious, and natural No.9 in the pool,” Hindle added. “Although he can play anywhere in the front three, Endrick is at his best stretching the defence as a central striker, and carrying the ball on the counter.”

After the Spain game, Brazilian head coach Dorival Junior praised Endrick’s performance on the pitch. He praised the youngster’s mentality in dealing with a high pressure game considering the venue and the opponent. 

“He is a kid who is very promising,” said Dorival Junior. “He has been increasing his level for a long time. He was the protagonist of the final moments of the Brazilian championship last year, playing decisive and brilliant games. We have to take care of him so that we have him on the field in the most important moments and that it continues to be decisive as he has been.”

Endrick had his debut for Brazil senior team last November under the supervision of the then coach Fenando Diniz. He has now scored two goals in four appearances for the Seleccao in the international stage.
