Al Nassr vs Al Tai Preview

  • Date – Saturday, March 30, 2024
  • Kick-off Time – 07:00 pm GMT
  • Venue – Al Awwal Stadium

As the teams prepare for the final stretch of the season, it appears the Saudi Pro League title is set to go to Al Hilal. Al Nassr are currently 14 points behind with just five games remaining.

However, the Knights of Njad will look to end the season on a high in the league. They still have the opportunity to win the Saudi Super Cup as they face Al Hilal in the semi-finals.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Co. have had a tough run since returning from the winter break, having won just one of their last five games. This also saw them being eliminated from the AFC Champions League in the quarter-finals against Al Ain on penalties.

Al Tai, meanwhile, are hoping to avoid relegation this season. They are 16th in the standings, two points behind 15th-placed Al Riyadh. Hence, every game is crucial for them if they are to stay in the top flight.

Al Nassr had a rough few games, which saw them being eliminated from the AFC Champions League and falling further behind in the SPL title race. However, they bounced back with a close 1-0 win at Al Ahli last time out.

Al Tai, meanwhile, broke a run of seven games without a win by beating Al Hazm 1-0. They then drew 1-1 at home against Al Ettifaq.

Al Tai desperately needs points to avoid relegation and might have a go at Al Nassr, which just might suit the hosts with their counterattacking prowess. Hence, Cristiano Ronaldo and Co. should win this one.

Predicted Score: Al Nassr 3-1 Al Tai
