2 | Emiliano Martinez | Aston Villa | £5.0m | 72 points | Crystal Palace |

5. Filip Jorgensen – Chelsea | 12 points | £4.2m

Goalkeeping is an issue that has massively bothered Chelsea this season. Despite having a number of senior keepers in their squad, Robert Sanchez had been trusted with the job but he has disappointed several times. It seems that Enzo Maresca has now entrusted Filip Jorgensen with the goalkeeping duties. The young keeper had a spectacular time at Villarreal but for Chelsea he hasn’t had too much of a look in yet. In the few games, he has played as the first choice keeper though, he hasn’t set the world on fire, making a couple of errors. However a clean sheet is expected as they play Southampton this week. Jorgensen is a promising talent and it is expected that he will do quite well in the long term.
4. Jordan Pickford – Everton | 109 points | £5.1m

Everton have mostly been quite poor this season and have consistently been involved in a relegation struggle. It is only after David Moyes’s arrival that they have started to improve. Everton’s defense is arguably their strong point, supported by the highly experienced Jordan Pickford, the Toffees are set to face Brentford this week. Therefore, Jordan Pickford might be a valuable choice in Fantasy Premier League this week. Moreover, he accumulates a significant number of save points and bonus points. He has recorded 9 clean sheets this season and has completed 76 saves.
3. Bernd Leno – Fulham | 77 points | £5.0m

Bernd Leno is a skilled goalkeeper who often does not get the recognition he deserves. This week, Fulham faces Wolves, who have struggled significantly this season. Fulham, overall, poses as a challenging team to compete against and tends to limit the number of quality chances they concede. As a result, Leno will have a strong opportunity to secure a clean sheet this weekend. The German goalkeeper has performed well, but he has managed to keep only a few clean sheets thus far. He has accumulated a total of 72 saves. Wolves do pose a threat at times, but expect Leno to deliver a solid performance.
2. Emiliano Martinez – Aston Villa | 72 points | £5.0m

Concerning clean sheets, the season has been rather unkind to Emiliano Martinez up to this point, and as a consequence, his Fantasy Premier League points have suffered. However, under significant pressure, there is probably no one better. The Argentine goalkeeper will strive to replicate that performance in the club season once again. Aston Villa has shown inconsistency, and during these moments, they need a player of Emi Martinez’s caliber to step up. The Argentine usually excels when circumstances are challenging, so in the forthcoming matches, he is anticipated to put forth an outstanding performance. This weekend, Villa encounters a potentially difficult game against Crystal Palace. Martinez has achieved only 3 clean sheets but has made 71 saves.
1. Andre Onana – Manchester United | 90 points | £5.0m

Manchester United continues to be inconsistent and is currently in 15th place in what has been a challenging season. Andre Onana, however, has encountered a difficult patch of form in recent weeks after a solid start to the season. He will also be under observation, particularly with club legend David De Gea, from whom Onana took the role, performing well at Fiorentina. Nonetheless, the Cameroonian is expected to keep his spot and secure a clean sheet when United takes on struggling Ipswich Town this weekend. A significant performance is required from him, even while recognizing United’s difficulties in defending their goal.
As we turn our attention to Gameweek 26, the Premier League has a thrilling set of fixtures lined up. The highlight of the weekend is the game between Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur. The latter side are improving of late and have always been a thorn in the side of Pep Guardiola’s team. City on the other hand are finding it very difficult to leave their slump in form.
The deadline for GW27 is on 25th February.
