RCB-W vs UPW-W Pitch Report & Weather Conditions
High-scoring venue
Chinnaswamy is traditionally known for fours and sixes and the batters tend to have a gala time whenever there is action here. Short boundaries, fast outfield, and a true batting wicket are a batter’s friend and Chinnaswamy has them all.
Dew Factor
Generally, one can expect dew to set in during the second half of the match and if that happens it could be tough work for the side bowling second. However, in the couple of matches played so far in this year’s WPL at this venue, there has been dew but not very significant.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women
Table-toppers RCB have had their first defeat of the season after a bright start to their title defense. They were beaten by MI in their first home game of the season in front of an electric atmosphere at the Chinnaswamy. Ellyse Perry was the standout for them with the bat with a WPL best of 81 but she got little support from her mates as RCB could only muster 167 on a flat deck at Chinnaswamy.
Their bowlers, led by Georgia Wareham’s 3-er did well to give a good fight but a half-century from MI skipper Harmanpreet and a calm head of Amanjot took the team from the city of dreams home. RCB would now want to give their unwavering fans a much better performance and something to cheer about.
Ellyse Perry has been RCB’s best batter and she is number two on the orange cap list with 145 runs in 3 matches while Gerogia Wareham is the current holder of the purple cap with 7 wickets in 3 matches.
UP Warriorz Women
After a disappointing start to their season, UPW finally managed to get off the mark with a commanding win over DC and they would be now looking to run with all the momentum when they meet RCB just 48 hours after their previous clash. Fueled by the joint-fastest half-century in WPL history by Chinelle Henry (18 balls) and a hat-trick for Grace Harris, UPW thumped DC and also unearthed a young star in Kranti Goud who took 4 wickets with the ball.
In what has been a tough season with the bat for them, Chinelle Henry leads their run-charts with 95 runs in just 2 matches while Grace Harris has had a big say with the ball getting 6 wickets in 3 games and sits on number two in the purple cap’s list.
UPW-W vs RCB-W Toss Prediction: UPW to win and bowl first
Captains winning the toss generally have had no hesitation to bowl first at Chinnaswamy and that is how it works at this venue with the small boundaries and the threat of dew later in the match. Expect either of the captains to look to bowl on winning the toss.
RCB-W vs UPW-W Score Prediction
Considering the average first-innings score of 155 and the fact that both these teams have many high-quality international batters in their line-ups, a first-innings score of around 170-180 could be expected in the match.

- Chinelle Henry – The West Indian has been a standout since she has been a part of the UPW lineup from their second match. She has infused positivity into the group and is coming off a spectacular POTM performance for her knock of 62 off just 23 balls which also included the joint-fastest WPL fifty in 18 balls.
