Mo Salah joins an elite list of players who have scored the most EPL goals at a single stadium
Mohamed Salah was once deemed a failure because of his time at Chelsea. Even after joining Liverpool in 2017 and performing well in his first season, he received criticism and was called a “one-season wonder. Putting all the criticism aside, Mo Salah improved his performances season after season and is one of the best players in the world right now and is definitely one of the greatest legends in the history of the Premier League.
Liverpool’s stadium Anfield is their kingdom, one of the most passionate fan bases and amongst the top ten most supported in the world and Mo Salah is definitely the rightful heir to the throne. On 16th February 2025, Liverpool faced Wolves at their home stadium Anfield in a Premier League match. Luis Diaz opened the scoring for Liverpool and then Mo Salah scored a 37th-minute penalty giving Liverpool a two-goal lead. Eventually, Liverpool won the match 2-1 and are still going strong in the title race.
Overall Mo Salah has broken a lot of records ever since his transfer to Liverpool however he broke another record and has joined an elite list of players after scoring a goal against Wolves. Mo Salah is now joint third with Manchester United legend Wayne Rooney having scored the most EPL goals (101) at a single stadium. Mo Salah has scored a staggering 101 goals at Anfield and some of these goals are too good.

Some of his best goals at Anfield are scoring a 40-yard goal against Manchester City in the 2017-2018 season, scoring a screamer against his former club Chelsea in the 2018-2019 season, scoring a brace against rivals Manchester United in a 7-0 thrashing in the 2023-2024 season and many more.
The best part about this record is that Salah is just 5 goals behind Sergio Aguero (106) and Thierry Henry (116) and both of those players are retired. Mo Salah is 32 years old and still has a few good years left in him which implies that he can easily surpass this list and become the top scorer with most EPL goals scored in a single stadium.
The only resounding problem here is the contract renewal which has been put off for quite some time due to disagreement over some issues between both parties. As of the 2025-2026 season, Salah can definitely break Aguero’s record of 106 goals since there are quite many home games left. Nonetheless, if Liverpool does renew Salah’s contract, Salah will easily break this record and be number One and potentially other records as well in the future.
