Brest 0-3 PSG Player Ratings: Ousmane Dembele’s brace helps PSG gain advantage ahead of the second leg

PSG secured a convincing victory against Brest in the first-leg clash of the Champions League playoff at the Stade du Roudourou on Tuesday. This win gives Luis Enrique a healthy lead ahead of their second-leg fixture next week in Paris. In an exciting first half, Vitinha’s penalty gave the Ligue 1 side the lead and they managed to avoid a goal from a few defensive errors from Gianluigi Donnarumma and Achraf Hakimi. Ousmane Dembele doubled the lead after an assist from Hakimi around the end of the first half.

Brest was unable to handle Dembele’s pace and skill, as he added a second goal 20 minutes into the second half after continuing his purple streak with a perfect finish at the interval. PSG had a chance to score more, but just before Dembele’s second goal, Doue’s attempt was disallowed for offside. In the second half, Brest too had their moments, but they were unable to maintain the pressure for very long.
