Club Career

2018: Tchouameni joined Bordeaux’s academy in 2011 as an 11-year-old. He trained with their academy side before making his senior debut in 2018. He debuted in the UEFA Europa League on 26^th July 2018 before scoring his first goal on August 9^th. He impressed in a tame Bordeaux side for one and a half seasons before being on the move.

2020: Tchouameni signed for Monaco in January 2020. His reputation grew as he put in excellent performances throughout the season. It was at Moncao where he showed rapid progress and developed into one of the finest defensive midfielders in the world. He won the Ligue 1 Young Player of the Year award in the 2020/21 season.
