Arsenal vs Liverpool Match Preview

Tournament – Premier League

Date – Sunday, February 4, 2024

Kick-off Time – 10:00 pm IST

Venue – Emirates Stadium

In a potential title decider, Arsenal will host Liverpool at the Emirates in the Premier League on Sunday.

Liverpool lead the league table after 22 games with 15 wins, six draws, and one defeat. They have been in exceptional form despite injuries to key players like Mohamed Salah and Trent Alexander-Arnold.

The Reds have won eight of their last 11 games across competitions, drawing the other three. They are competing in all four competitions this season and are one of the favorites for all of them.

Meanwhile, Arsenal have largely been good season but have had some disappointing results in recent times. They are third in the Premier League, five points behind Liverpool, and level with Manchester City, who have a game in hand.

The Gunners have been eliminated from both domestic cups but will face FC Porto in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16.

Prediction

It is a huge clash between two excellent sides this season. Liverpool have been phenomenal this season and have also coped well without their key players in recent times. However, the likes of Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson have made their return after injuries and could spell danger for Arsenal.

The Reds hammered Chelsea 4-1 at Anfield in their last game while the Gunners had a narrow 2-1 win at Nottingham Forest.

Arsenal have put in good displays in recent times but have lacked the clinical edge. A similar scenario could prove costly on Sunday.
